State Room descriptions and costs

Eating Room (Cabaret style 30 to 40) - £500 per day

This room is the grandest room of the House and is our largest meeting room. It can be used for formal meetings in Boardroom style, or to accommodate up to 70 in theatre style. As its name suggests, it is also perfect for larger parties for dining and entertaining.

Drawing Rooms (Cabaret style to 30 in each room) - £300 per day each

These are the oldest rooms in the House. They are spilt into East and Central Drawing Rooms. They provide an excellent combination suite, which are separated by double doors. This configuration is ideal if you need extra space for break-out activities.

Soane Suite (Boardroom 12 to 16) - £250 per day

Named after the Architect of the House, on the first floor of the House, it has great views out over the lawns and the local farmland. The room is laid out as a Boardroom.

There is also an annex, which can be used to lay out refreshments and lunch, without the need to interrupt the main meeting. The Small Soane room is also off this annex, so could be used as a breakout room.

The Small Soane (Meeting space for 4 - 6) - £100 per day

Located on the first floor of the house, the room offers views out over the lawns and the local farmland. An ideal space for small meetings or one-to-ones. It is connected to the main Soane suite room by the annex that can be used for refreshments.

The Library (Meeting space for up to 10) - £150 per day

Used during the evening as a residents’ lounge, this room can be used for less formal meetings during the day.

The Stable Room (Versatile space for up to 100) - £300 per day

This room was once home to the Thornton horses and is a self-contained space located near the main house with it’s own kitchen and toilets . It has been used as a separate office in the past. Light and airy, the room can be set to suit any style be it Cabaret, Boardroom or Theatre.

The chapel

Reflecting the ownership of the House by a Christian charity, we have our own chapel that seats up to 16 people. It can be used for prayers and reflection at any time. Many Christian organisations choose Moggerhanger Park for their gatherings, workshops and retreats.

The Chapel is also licensed to conduct Christian weddings.
