The orchard tearooms

Open 10.00am - 4.00pm

Wednesday - Sunday

Located in the Orchard, just past the Walled Garden next to the Woodland Playground.

Serving tea, coffee, cakes, ice cream, treats and a light lunch. Children's menu available as well as our children's lunch boxes.   

Either take the woodland walk from the car park or the Walled Garden path and find The Orchard Tearooms at the end of the path. 

The Education Room at the back of the Orchard Tearooms houses an exhibition of the history of the House and the original Thornton family.

The Woodland Playground is open from 8am to 4.30pm.

Picnics are permitted within the park grounds, but the tables outside the Tearooms are for the use of customers only.

Afternoon teaS

Cream Teas are available in our Tearooms every day. We hold occasional Afternoon Teas in the state Eating Room of the main House. See Upcoming Events for dates and details. We can take Afternoon Tea bookings for parties of 20 or more in the main House as a special event.
